Educational Tour
From humble beginnings to the world’s most coveted title in tennis, let our Education Team guide you through the stories that make a visit to Wimbledon such an unforgettable experience. The tour explores the story behind the first Championships, and visits No.1 Court, the Picnic Terraces (the famous hill!), the Millennium Building including the press areas and the iconic Centre Court.*
*Please be aware tour route is subject to change without notice due to building work.
The Primary Education Programme is both fun and inspiring. All activities are linked to the National Curriculum and cover a range of subjects. Teachers can choose from workshops and/or guided tours of the grounds. All visits include entrance to the Museum.
Our Secondary and Further Education Programme is flexible in order to meet the needs of all groups. The individual packages can be adapted from an introductory talk to a more detailed analysis of each subject; lecturers can tailor their visits in advance. All talks are interactive, with open discussion encouraged.
