London, UK: The All England Club, Wimbledon, has appointed Spencer Stuart, one of the world’s leading executive search firms, to assist in the process of selecting a successor to Chief Executive Ian Ritchie, pictured above.

Philip Brook, Chairman of The All England Lawn Tennis Club, who is leading the process said: “It is probably fair to say that the position of Chief Executive of the All England Club is one of the more coveted posts in the world of sport and we are confident that, with the help of Spencer Stuart, we will find the right quality of candidate.”

At the same time, the Club confirmed Ritchie will leave on 24 February 2012 to take up his new position as the new Chief Executive of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) on 27 February 2012.
